Role: Network Lead/Architect Location: Washington, DC (Day 1 Onsite) Type: Contract Job Description:

  • Responsible for guiding the security SME and network engineer to drive the successful implementation of the POC and remote access VPN solution.
  • Installing the various remote access VPN technologies that includes Zscalar, Cisco secure connect and Microsoft Always ON VPN.
  • Documenting the HLD and LLD documents for Network and remote access VPN architecture as per the business policy
  • Assess the current Direct Access VPN infrastructure and document the security standards and recommend any changes in proposed design.
  • Responsible to drive the entire project which include Assessment, POC, pilot implementation, End user rollout and decommissioning of the DA.
  • As a precautionary measure, analyze and implement network infrastructure of the current remote access VPN infrastructure and develop the decommissioning proc
  • Work with various VPN service providers in implementing the Proof of Concept of their VPN solution.
  • Collaborate with the various stake holders for testing the VPN solution and resolving any application access issues through VPN. \
  • Tracking the VPN access procedures and ensuring highest security standards implemented in VPN design.
  • Generating and maintaining the virtual private network, firewalls, web protocols and email security decorum.
  • Document the VPN access procedures and installation processes that helps end users to access VPN users on their own.
  • Coordinate with stake holders for scheduling and conducting the end u ser trainings.
  • Ensuring the logging and monitoring is enabled for all the remote access VPN infrastructure in cloud or on-prem.
  • Must have experience in deploying VPN services in Azure or AWS cloud.
  • Timely reporting the progress of the project deliverables and any risks to the business stake holders.
