The Senior Quality Assurance Manager role is a member of the Financial Systems team that is executing more than several special projects for the business. The position is a very hands-on role as a direct contributor and is a leadership role in running the overall Financial Systems team Software Quality Assurance program. The position is expected to develop and mature the SQA program within the Financial Systems team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Owns the SQA Strategy for Financial Business Systems department, formulating SQA standards and implementing best practices, organizational policies, and SQA processes.
  • Evolve and mature the SQA practice and standards within the Financial Business Systems group.
  • Conduct requirements reviews with the business and/or technical staff to understand necessary test coverage.
  • Maintain the test script library, creating and/or updating scripts for existing/new/changed processes, capabilities, and systems
  • Develop Test Plans to address testing of components, configurations, workflows, reports, transactions, interfaces, and Application Programming Interfaces (API)s, supporting unit testing, sprint testing, SIT, and UAT
  • Ensures that test plans are traceable to requirements within project scope (RTM)
  • SQA lead for designated projects, facilitating test plan execution, and monitoring/reporting testing status to testing teams and management
  • Work cross-functionally to build and supervise SQA test teams executing test plans, meeting testing schedules
  • Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including defect reports, test plans, test cases, test data, and overall project progress reports for designated projects
  • Implement and maintain testing systems for test case management, test plans, requirements management, defect management, and testing automation
  • Train users on testing systems and test script execution
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, business or another relevant field
  • 10+ years' experience in a project-based QA role verifying configurations in off-the-shelf business products (ERP, CRM, etc.) and custom development on business systems
  • 5+ years' experience demonstrating management/leadership of the QA function
  • Strong knowledge of SQA methodology and best practices for Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid projects
  • Excellent ability to develop test scripts and build/execute test plans for business systems, systems integrations, and business data conversions
  • Highly experienced in generating test plans with test cases aligned with project requirements
  • Exceptional skills effectively interfacing with development teams, user groups, and management
  • Must possess the BA skills needed to develop requirements from the business and technicians
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written, and verbal skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing testing systems.
  • Excellent communications skills; spoken and written, and good people skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Knowledge to configure and use TestRail and JIRA Cloud
  • Experience testing Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS)
  • Experience in services industry (finance, marketing, advertising)
  • Experience with test automation for business systems
  • Experience in a SOX controlled Fortune 500 environment
