This position supports the Defense Information Agency (DIA) with administering and troubleshooting the Messaging Information Services and Tools for the Intelligence Community (MYSTIC) organizational messaging application. The successful candidate will support a mission critical application and provide Tier II support. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot Linux operating system issues and assist in determining message traffic flow problems.Must be:- Well versed in the Linux operating system.- Good troubleshooting skills- Ability to work independently- Knowledge of various organizational messaging formats such as JANAP-128, DOI-103, and DD-173 formats.- Ability to decipher XML-formatted messages.- Knowledge of organizational messaging on a global scale.MUST HAVE:- Bachelor degree with an emphasis on computer science- T/S SCI clearance- DoDI 8570 compliant - such as Security+ but also to include a Linux certificationMUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD TS/SCI CLEARANCE ; this will be verified prior to interview.
