We are seeking a

Health Systems Analyst with Subject Matter Expertise in VA and VHA programs to support integration of communications, IT, data, and healthcare, and health research to improve outcomes for veterans. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support analysis of current and future state concepts for the VHA and facilitate convergence of communications, IT/data, and healthcare research
  • Support analysis, design, development, and implementation of appropriate business processes within the organization
  • Develop and implement business processes that impact substantive programs focused on Veterans healthcare such as Patient Centered Medical Home, Prosthetics, Tele Health; Mental Health (including Residential Rehabilitation and PTSD), Women's Health, Specialty Care, Veterans Homelessness, and Geriatrics and Extended Care
Experience/Education Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder
  • Eligibility to obtain Veterans Administration (VA) suitability approval to access agency computer systems and facilities required to start work; current VA credentials preferred
  • Master's degree is required with a focus in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Prosci certification in Change Management is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
  • 7-10 years of related experience supporting large-scale Integrated Healthcare Systems for veterans health
  • Change Management experience using a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition in a healthcare environment; experience working in a union environment is preferred
  • Experience with transition management, implementation of major initiatives, communication associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change
  • Experience completing change management assessments and developing/supporting change management strategy
  • Working knowledge of the Veterans Service Integrated Network (VISN)
  • Extensive experience working with VHA and VHA Medical Center Operations
  • Experience with clinical and business processes within the VHA and affiliated healthcare education systems
  • Ability to clearly communicate and exchange information with co-workers, teammates, stakeholders, and other personnel, as required
  • Proficiency working across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
