What You Will Do:
  • The Army Account Manager will report to the Managing Director, DoD Practice and he/she will be accountable for Army delivery management and new business development opportunity growth
  • Maintain working relationships and knowledge of industry competitors and technology providers
  • Assess Army technology and mission trends and create differentiated value solutions
  • Develop and maintain key Army stakeholder relationships and engagements
  • Develop an actionable Army account plan and executable growth strategy
  • Develop, maintain, and grow a pipeline of Army new business opportunities
  • Drive and support capture of new business opportunities within targeted Army customer organizations through research, networking, solution development, client messaging, and strategic teaming
  • For specific opportunities, create win plans, negotiate teaming arrangements, and identify win themes and differentiators. Interact with client executives to understand major requirements, current issues, and strategies

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience within a DoD business services organization
  • 10+ years of experience supporting DoD delivery management, resource management, and contract execution
  • Experience with supply chain and logistics programs
  • Strong understanding of leading Industry and Army technology trends
  • Strong understanding of DoD Acquisition lifecycle and Army contract vehicles
  • Experience with revenue management and achieving growth targets
  • Ability to build and maintain senior Government and Industry partner relationships
  • Experience with presenting to senior leadership and working within a diverse team construct
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate multiple opportunities through the capture process
  • Experience with the Army organizations (PEO EIS, AMC, TRADOC, etc)
  • Knowledge of the Shipley capture management process
  • Demonstrated success in winning competitive opportunities with a Total Contract Value of at least $50M+
  • Demonstrated success in shaping and winning opportunities in the following technical areas: Cybersecurity, IT Modernization, Advanced Analytics, Supply Chain, Application Development, Cloud Services

Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Experience supporting sales and business development
  • Experience with financial management

Education and Certifications: Bachelors Degree, PMP Certification
