Naval IT Program Management Specialist, MidKey Role:

Provide leadership and expertise in supporting a United States Navy (USN) Program Management Office (PMO) for acquisition and sustainment management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT)/Business Category (BCAT) I program. Apply program and project management best practices to manage cost, schedule, and performance of Navy Information Technology (IT) systems. Assign tasks are typically of high visibility and work products inform senior executives in the DoD chain of command. Work with DoD IT stakeholders to understand applicable policies and requirements. Coordinate with requiring Government activities and Contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk. Develop and implement the schedules and monitor those plans to manage resources and mitigate risk. Identify issues, develop recommendations for issue resolution, and escalate status updates to client leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of program management or acquisition management experience supporting Federal Agencies including Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security or Department of State
  • Experience with IT systems, Product and Service Delivery, and Digital Solutions
  • Experience with developing senior level briefs, reports, executive summaries, and analysis
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
