Maintains application support document/source code in repositories. Helps develop and maintain system and software architecture diagrams and all service artifacts. Supporting applications developed using Java Platform, Standard, Enterprise Edition and AWS Cloud Platform. Application support, deployment, upgrades and developing new module, enhancement supporting Amtrak's Sales Channels and revenue application systems. Configure IBM WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat Application Server, JBoss Enterprise Application Platform and other middleware components in Linux and UNIX operating systems. Troubleshoot production application problems resolve incidents and problems, update the knowledge base. Monitoring tools using with HP SiteScope and AppDynamics, Elasticsearch/Fluentd/Kibana (EFK). Build application packages for production and non-production environment, automate the build and deployment using Jenkins and Hudson as a continuous integration process and maintain the continuous integration process. Maintenance and support of existing application functionality investigate the production issues. Bug fixing/enhancement and implementation. Perform installation and deployment of new modules/services, upgrades and bug fixes. Extensively worked on Any Point Studio and MuleSoft Integration platform and used it to interface application services. Identify application code changes and deployment/configuration related changes, deployment script changes and property file changes etc. Create, update and enhance application SQL. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field followed by six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Experience must include the following: 1) Java and J2EE programming languages using object-oriented design patterns; 2) User interface technologies: JSP, Servlets, AngularJS, ReactJS, Ext JS, Bootstrap, HTML5 and JavaScript; 3) SOAP, REST, JSON and XML-based web services through data transformation between APIs and systems; 4) Utilizing IBM MQ, JMS, ActiveMQ and AWS Kinesis messaging technologies for the communication of data between systems; 5) Relational databases Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 using to store PNR and Ticketing data; 6) Develop distributed applications utilizing AWS CLI, S3, Lambda, Dynamo DB, Elastic Beanstalk, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, Data Pipeline, Redshift, CloudWatch and CloudFormation; 7) IDEs, including Rational Application Developer, Eclipse and Anypoint Studio, used for source code development and compilation; 8) Monitoring tools: Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana, HP SiteScope, AppDynamics and Elastic Stack; 9) DevOps and continuous delivery, continuous integration using ANT, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, and Confluence; 10) Software source code management tools: GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN; 11) Deploying enterprise applications utilizing: WebSphere Application Servers, JBoss Enterprise Application, Apache Tomcat; and 12) Utilizing ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate and MyBatis) to convert data across relational databases to Java JDBC.
