Job Description:

The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States.

Position Summary:The American Red Cross seeks a creative and energetic Analytics Technical Lead to join our Fundraising & Marketing Technology Group (FMTG) in supporting applications that help to deliver ARC's mission to "prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors." We accomplish this primarily through public-facing applications at RedCross.org and Redcrossblood.org, an internal gift management platform, as well as several other business systems tied into a corporate intranet called The Exchange.

Responsibilities: Top candidates for this role will have recent significant experience with a recognized brand as a hands-on technical leader with the Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Target platforms. In this role you will support a broad range of stakeholder groups by: • Partnering with stakeholders to implement technical solutions that deliver analytics tagging for Redcross.org, Redcrossblood.org, mobile applications and other products. • Helping plan and design new analytics strategies using tag managers, and working with other developers to implement related assets (e.g. new landing pages and product pages.) • Collaborating with a broad stakeholder group to help architect and maintain an enterprise class analytics infrastructure. • Supporting marketing partners by infusing analytics and critical-thinking into large-scale marketing program-based decisions. • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and develop data collection strategies that support reporting of KPIs for online campaigns, e-commerce conversion funnels, and long-term marketing strategies. Emphasis is placed on KPI identification/creation and then tracking the continuous improvement. • Fostering a "testing culture" based on data-driven decisions focused on increasing conversion.

Qualifications: • 5+ years' experience managing Adobe Analytics within a commerce and/or content publishing environment with a major brand. • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JS Frameworks, JSON, AJAX, XML • 2+ years' experience with Adobe Launch. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience. • Intermediate working knowledge of Adobe AEM and SPA built websites. • Significant experience with most of the following Analytics concepts/disciplines:
  • Virtual report suites
  • Variables setup and configuration
  • Role-based access/user permissions management
  • Workflow engineering
  • Taxonomy of variables
  • Server calls strategy/optimization
  • Reporting and data integrations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills. • Adapt to and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and in challenging situations. • Desire to participate in and help build and strengthen a team-oriented environment. • Strong adherence to a consistent delivery methodology and associated deliverable generation.

Nice-to-have experience that would put you at the top of the candidate pool: • Advanced knowledge of integrations/interactions with other Adobe Experience Cloud products. • Experience in design level documentation of BRD, Technical and architectural diagrams.

Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.

Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.

For those candidates located in Colorado, the salary range for this position is: $120K - $160K annual salary. We do not offer bonus pay for this role. Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the job or employee resides.
