PURPOSE

Purpose of the Mgr. Digital Product - Analyticsis to execute business objectives with data and ensure alignment with the vision of the company. Individual will organize the technology, processes and financial resources necessary to address the current and future analytics needs of the business. Provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches and methodologies. Provides management responsibility into data-driven insights that inform the business's strategic direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Leads the day to day management of the Digital Product Analytics team members. Works closely with business units and product managers to translate business strategy into digital product and analytics roadmaps that drive digital capabilities that meet overall business goals. With a focus on the development of marketing campaign & business intelligence analytics (descriptive and diagnostic) capabilities across the company, including self-service capabilities through analytics strategies that drive the technology implementation, best practices and training. Ensure team members serve as a trusted advisors to stakeholders on analytics and data. Works closely with other sales and marketing teams, including digital engagement, product marketing, communications, web, and events to understand and optimize the systems and/or platforms to enable the marketing strategy. Maintains constant communication with the business stakeholders; product managers and owners including IT and vendor stakeholders to ensure delivery progress against their assigned digital analytics capability roadmap. Works with and partners with key business stakeholders to remove any impediments that require business stakeholders' input to ensure prompt delivery by IT and vendor partners.
  • Delivers best in class customer experiences by leveraging a good understanding of user experience techniques and user-centered design. Provides leadership Digital Analytics team members as they retrieve website and customer data to gain in-depth understanding of how customers use digital interfaces and how the UX experience can be improved. Provides supports and strategic guidance into the development of journeys that drive measurable benefits, as set out in business cases, and working through the full project lifecycle. Ensuring that the journey can be measured, and analyzed to inform user behavior and marketing channel results across products, channel, platform and other performance segments with a understanding of how customer data is structured in the systems, and segments the database based on criteria (region, life cycle stage, persona) to best target a specific market or user type.
  • Ensure that digital product analytics that drive data-based decisions on the scope and priority of content and website investments backlogs managed by Product Managers and Owners tie into roadmap value drivers. With the input of key stakeholders and support from analyst, insights and customer experience team embers develops and sets business performance metrics and other analytical measures. Ensures success criteria built by Product Manager and Owners, for key product epics and corresponding features leverage meaningful analytics and metrics to drive continuous improvement of assigned products and processes.
  • Challenges the status quo; champions the digital experience across the organization and encourages actions that align with customer goals and needs. Champions analytic driven Agile development methodology transformation across the company through contribution to Agile education initiatives and communicating agile principles to executive audiences. Monitors the application of Agile principles across product teams.
  • Ensure the marketing and digital teams partner with stakeholders to ensure websites are properly optimized with the implementation of SEO strategies and build the product analytics roadmap to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives. Defines, creates and manages the product discovery, intake and roadmap runway prioritization process for key business capability. This process captures, evaluates and prioritizes all proposed ideas, products, services, and enhancements against key business value criteria for assigned area. Ensures delivery of optimal UX results by continually testing and tracking digital experience journeys, usability and value propositions that produces growth plans that drive results.
  • Serve as technical and process mentor for staff, ensuring optimization of skill set enhancement. Evaluate the performance of each team member, generate development plans, and set goals within the context of the corporate policy. Develop a realistic action plan to improve employee satisfaction. Develop and communicate organizational objectives; inspire and motivate team members to achieve results. Build organizational talent by creating a learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business, computer Science or related field or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience:

5 years progressive marketing analytics experience

1 year supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data
  • Excellent communication skills; this role requires regular interaction with executives and team leads from across the company
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously against tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Web Master Tools, and Tag Manager.
  • Knowledge of B2C marketing, such as digital advertising, direct response marketing, CRM, database marketing.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills strong client interface and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and publishing applications.
  • Good project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues and findings in writing and orally, to both executive and peer audiences.
  • Very strong web and business analysis skills
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with all corporate functions and senior management
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

Additional Skills and Abilities
  • Experience working with Analytical and data visualization platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics studio, SF Datorama; Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau)
  • Demonstrated experience building analytical capabilities to enable effective marketing campaign measurement and management.
  • Have experience partnering with the Marketing Technology functions to ensure the analytics ecosystem has an effective roadmap and planned for future needs.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of MarTech analytical product capabilities that influences business strategy.
  • Possesses strong communication and influencingskills within reporting line,business stakeholder community, along with IT and business peers.
  • Experience with Healthcare Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and general performance measures
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations and reports of analytic findings at the executive level
  • Ability to develop hypotheses and research questions to address clients' needs. By conducting a wide range of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods analyses to answer clients' research questions.
  • Demonstrated examples of developing analytic frameworks and select appropriate analytic methods to answer clients' research questions.
