  • Specific Outcome This Position Will Produce: The ideal candidate is a person with significant experience in ServiceNow development to include Security Operations (SecOps) who wants to help transform compliance, safety, and security capabilities across our enterprise. This candidate shall have experience in implementing key compliance and security solutions in ServiceNow as well as Business Analyst skill for ServiceNow. Years Experience/Degree Requirement/Certification: 3 years of hands-on proven experience developing and implementing ITSM, SecOps; demonstrated experience with Incident Management, Service Request Management, and other ITIL processes.   • UL Organization Description We re looking for a ServiceNow SecOps Developer who is ready to jump right in and help us build on our incredible momentum, our diverse, engaged workforce, and our purpose to make our ServiceNow Enterprise Solution, cutting edge technology. The ideal candidate is a person with significant experience in ServiceNow development to include Security Operations (SecOps) who wants to help transform compliance, safety, and security capabilities across our enterprise. This candidate shall have experience in implementing key compliance and security solutions in ServiceNow as well as Business Analyst skill for ServiceNow. What you get to do in this role: Both technical and functional aspects of project delivery and solution delivery including:
    • Develop and configure various ServiceNow solutions: solid knowledge and hands on experience with SecOps. We utilize a similar product known as Serenity Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) that resides on the NOW Platform. Although prior experience working with Serenity EHS is not required, the person in this position must demonstrate the skills to learn and develop, support Serenity EHS and its related integrations and processes on the NOW Platform.
    • Act as a Serenity SME to answer questions from internal staff on various areas including product functionality, integrations, best practices, etc.
    • Work with business, product/process owners and IT stakeholders to gather their requirements for new and existing solutions.
    • Key role in requirements sessions, providing recommendations to streamline and optimize processes and align with the overall framework.
    • Document detailed requirements in user stories format and build Visio process flows as needed.
    • Work with the Sr. ServiceNow Application Architect and development team to determine the best technical solution to address the requirements.
    • Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts Script Includes, and ACLs including advanced scripting of (and Angular JS)
    • Develop systems integrations and process automation with external system REST APIs.

    • Demonstrated strong business and technical (English) communication skills (both oral and written); able to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, detailed, and concise manner to other technical people and non-technical people.
    • Strong Hands-on experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and of working in a SaaS environment.
    • 3 years of hands-on proven experience developing and implementing ITSM, SecOps; demonstrated experience with Incident Management, Service Request Management, and other ITIL processes.
    • Able to work effectively in an environment with many competing and high priority demands.
    • Must have ServiceNow Certification (CSA, CIS or CAD)
    Preferred Qualifications: (Nice-to-have, yet not required)
    • GRC/IRM
    • ITIL Foundation Certified
    • Strong understanding of compliance, safety management operations, policies, governance, and security technologies: NIST, ISO, SIEM, vulnerabilities, end-point protection, breach detection, and threat management.
    • Working knowledge of various attack vectors and intrusion methodologies: DDoS, malware, phishing, brute force, APT, etc.
    • Working knowledge of common attack vectors, different classes of attacks (e.g., passive, active, insider, close-in, distributed, etc.) and general attack stages (e.g., foot printing and scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation or privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks, etc.)
