About the Opportunity

DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a

Training Developer t o support our client in Washington, DC.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop website integrated training and database program for customer
  • Determine platform technology needs and obtain and utilize platform
  • Address security and accessibility requirements, pre-deployment testing and evaluation
  • Implement remote training program
  • Develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate catalogues
  • Develop courses and instructional material to educate technical and non-technical personnel
  • Assess and advise customer on the future of remote learning and technology needs.
  • Provide standards, services, and guidance on training programs

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
  • At least five years of related experience
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated system-based content development experience within applications, tools, and business processes.

Required Skills/Certifications:
  • Strong proven experience developing a successful remote training program for adults learning to a job-related certification, ideally in relation to a federal regulation
  • Experience with Programming of Web-Based Training (WBT).
  • Design and publish system-based training material utilizing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate and UPK (other development programs are acceptable)
  • Requires ability to develop training integrated with a database backend
  • Experience developing graphics, videos, training curriculum, communications, process flows, documentation, and other related materials.
  • Requires the ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and system-based steps in order to effectively create content and other educational materials in a clear format according to user role(s).
  • Create visually clear and impactful business process documentation and demonstrate system functionality to various user levels;
  • Collaborate with functional subject matter experts to design strategic communications, internal marketing, and training materials
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience with technical writing a plus.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of principles, practices, and systems of organizational design, change management, and organizational development.
  • Experience with Programming of Web-Based Training (WBT).
