Public Health Consulting Firm in DC is looking for a Finance Associate to add to their busy team. The firm is a leader in global development focused on improving education, health, food and nutrition. This position supports a projects internationally.
Responsibilities will include:
- Track project finances and funding
- Prepare monthly expenditure reports for review by the Finance & Admin Director
- Prepare supporting documentation for monthly vouchers
- Develop monthly financial projections
- Coordinate with the Grants Officer to monitor expenditures
- Coordinate with the HR Officer who will be tasked with the procurement function to manage procurement tracking and vendor payment.
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or other related field is required along with 1-3 years of experience. Ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and have familiarity with Quickbooks. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are critical.
