We are looking for an experienced in-home Child Day Care Assistant with at least a high school diploma, multilingual, dependable, ability to work flexible hours, a valid driver’s permit and has dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
Provide basic care and caregiving activities
Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child's abilities
Observe children's interactions and promote the spirit of concord
Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
Skills
Proven experience as a childcare/daycare assistant. (2 years preferred).
Knowledge of child development
Methodical and creative
Patience, flexibility and love for children
Strong communication and time management skills
Certificate in first aid and CPR a plus
Must have high school diploma
Job Location and Type: Woodbridge VA; Full or Part-time (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $17.00 per hour
