Alexandria, VA area center seeking full time Director. Position requires a Bachelor's degree ( in Early Childhood Education preferred). Two or more years of previous experience as a Child Care / Preschool Director. Candidate must have knowledge of Virginia State Licensing regulations. Must demonstrate professionalism, supervisory skills and financial management. The Director must have the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, children and Virginia State Licensing professionals. Curriculum planning will be essential for this position. The Director will manage up to 30 employees and will be responsible for all operational aspects of the program. Applicant is subject to a federal fingerprint and VA Central Registry background checks.
