SES Is Seeking a DevOps Engineer CI/CD developer/lead in the cloud, understanding Java development, automating CI/CD tool chain/pipeline. Will be connecting and establishing the Ci/CD Pipeline to the AWS cloud. 1) CI/CD pipeline experience (Automation)Both On Prem and In AWS Cloud2) Linux, Python and shell scripting3) Jenkins, Git, Github, Maven, Nexus4) AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, and other native services, Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes5) Java programming (Python is a great added bonus) 6) SQL and data manipulation with Oracle and Clouud data structures7) ICart is used as the Orchestration tool on prem, will be migrating to Urban Code Deply (UCD) Soft Skills:1) Strong Communication skills, showing strength and Leadership2) Will be supporting 5 different Product teams3) Ability to Lead, Mentor and guide others when necessary4) Will be the liason to Enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud and Devops COE

Looking for a Lead, someone to take ownership of the CI/CD toolchain. Must have experience in Automation of Tool Chain in Cloud and on-Prem. Candidate will apply best practices to the existing toolchain and make adjustments. Update. Resource will be supporting 5 teams. Needs to be senior. Replacing a very valued and long term resource. Will be supporttng the On Prem CI/CD tool chain and building the AWS tool chain with Cloud friendly DevOPs tools and processes. AWS cloud strength is paramount! Knowledge of AWS Lambda, EMR, EC2, S3 etc. Will be migrating the orchestration Tool icart to Urban Code deploy so, Urban Code Deploy is a must. Will also be making the transition to BitBucket and integration with Sonarcube. Sonarcube is a must as resource will be setting up Sonarcube and it's integration with the toolchain. Must have implemented Sonarcube, preferably in the cloud. Client is using a Trunk based approach to deployment but may shift to a feature based approach so resource must know how merge multiple branches of code into one trunk. One main issue is merging of branches. Looking for a talented, enthusiastic and proactive DevOps Engineer who will assist in optimizing the development process to enable faster development flow by systematically reducing development cycle time and increasing built-in quality.The person is responsible for the delivery of automated software delivery practices focusing on full automation between the development and production environments. Collaborates with Development, Testing, Architecture, and Infrastructure groups to ensure consistency across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Take complete ownership of build and deployment (CICD) systems and processes, enabling engineering teams to focus on building features quickly using automated processes
  • Work with Agile Teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins shared library code to provide CI/CD functionality
  • Work with infrastructure teams to implement fully automated environments
  • Implement standard automation patterns based on industry best practice
  • Provide day to day DevOps support to the dev teams
  • Maintain and Monitor CI/CD pipelines
  • Leads, guides and participates in the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the scenarios, procedures and QE suites. Ensures content and structure of all QE documents / artifacts are documented and maintained.
  • Liaises with Development and Testers for iterations, testing and deployment activities. Assist in the preparation of System, Integration and User Acceptance Tests.
  • Ensures proper configuration management of the QE artifacts produced and traceability of the tests to the requirements.
  • Recognizes when test automation is appropriate and, if it is, they plan the effort. As test execution approaches, ensure the test environment is ready before test execution and managed during test execution.
