Director, Employee Communications Strategy & Experience

In this role, you will:Working with the Head of Employee Communications and Employer Brand, develop a comprehensive enterprise employee communications strategy that engages employees and supports measurable business outcomes.

Build and lead a team of enterprise employee communications content and employee experience leads and a Managing Editor who will develop and execute a series of ongoing multi-channel initiatives that integrate digital/editorial content, live video/events, employee social networks and in-person experiences.

Work with the Communications & Brand leadership and data analysts to identify strategic, specific themes for ongoing enterprise employee communications campaigns (which can include the employer value proposition; corporate transformation; diversity, equity and inclusion; priority financial service industry trends, among others) and then measure their business impact.

Lead a cross-functional Employee Communications Network, and work with LOB/functional communications partners on consistent execution across LOB/functional communications teams.

Partner with the Managing Editor and the Editorial Content Center of Excellence on content execution for digital channels as needed, working with their writers, editors, designers and producers to ensure thematic and visual consistency across each campaign.

Partner with communicators from across Communications & Brand to identify and develop the facts and supporting content for each campaign.

Partner with the Video & Virtual Platform Services team to develop and execute a cadence of virtual events supporting the campaigns.

Partner with appropriate teams (which can include Meetings & Events, Learning & Development, Corporate Properties Group and others) to develop and execute consistent in-person employee experiences, such as learning opportunities/seminars, events surrounding major corporate milestones, outside speakers etc.

Support the launch of new strategies, tools and programs with a solid change management model and communications to help employees successfully adopt the changes.

Develop and implement integrated communications strategies to support Wells Fargo's winning culture and employee engagement.

Work with data analysts to establish a consistent measurement framework to compare the performance of different campaigns, and make ongoing data-supported recommendations to optimize them.

Support the ongoing development, mentoring and professional growth of the team, and take responsibility for their engagement and job satisfaction.

Provide strategic employee communications counsel to the Head of Employee Communications & Employer Brand and the Communications & Brand leadership.

Collaborate across Public Affairs to coordinate work and ensure a 'One Wells Fargo' approach

Required Qualifications, US:8+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:Experience developing content for targeted audiences.

Experience using data to make specific recommendations, and measure performance.

Experience working across large, complex organizations to deliver results.

Experience delivering and supporting recommendations to senior leaders.

Experience managing large-scale change and helping employees to adopt the changes

Superior verbal and written persuasion abilities.

Ability to motivate and lead teams through ambiguity and strategic changes.

Passion for the employee experience.
