Microsoft Office Suite Application Analyst

The contractor must be analytical and have the technical aptitude to provide walk-in, email, and telephone one-on-one how to use assistance at the advanced level on all desktop applications supported in the PRC. Proficiency is expected with expertise in Microsoft Office Professional Plus (2016 and higher), with a secondary emphasis in the software identified in the Notes section.

Microsoft Note: Current and future versions of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 include, but may not be limited to, Excel, Access, Project, Word, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Skype for Business.

Adobe Note: Current and future versions of Adobe Creative Cloud include, but may not be limited to, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Adobe XD, and Adobe DC Pro.

SharePoint Note: Current and future versions of SharePoint 2016.

The contractor must be capable of teaching classes in Microsoft Office Suite in a classroom environment of 12 students at the basic through the advanced level and to address questions from walk-in and telephone customers.

The contractor must become technically knowledgeable and capable of assisting customers with any application updates and/or PRC hardware changes within 30 days.

The contractor must be technically knowledgeable and capable of using hardware and software to provide full data conversions, including graphic files, media, size, format, and application type.

The contractor must be technically capable of assisting walk-in customers in the PRC with using peripherals and hardware including scanners, laminators, auto-paper folders, binders, CD/DVD duplication, and other types of removable media and video capturing hardware.

The contractor must be technically capable of maintaining equipment for customer checkout (e.g. projector, digital cameras, video cameras, and office equipment etc.). The contractor must be capable of entering the equipment in the tracking database, and ensure all equipment is accounted for (verified) and operational during the check-out and check-in process. All equipment must be properly stored in the storage room when not checked out.

The contractor is expected to be able to troubleshoot and resolve, or provide recommendations for problems/issues related to the operation of the equipment in the PRC.

The contractor must be capable of developing, updating, and revising user guides provided for customers in the PRC.

The contractor must be technically capable of researching new hardware and software to meet customer requirements.

The contractor must be technically capable of routinely checking/testing training room hardware, to include training participants workstations and the Smartboard for proper operation as well as set up the classroom for training instruction. The contractor must report all issues that cannot be resolved locally, to the service desk for resolution.

Minimum Education

Bachelors degree in a relevant IT field.

Certifications and training in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Customer Support.

Minimum Years of Experience

Either 8 years of relevant work experience, or a 4-year College degree in a relevant IT field.

At least 4 years of relevant work experience applying their specialty in a customer centric support environment, with a primary focus on MS Office Suite support.
