Job Location: System Administrator

Duration: 1 year contract

Location: Washington, DC (They will be expected to be onsite for the first couple of weeks but then can be remote and just need to come in the office when necessary…the tape backup need to be performed in person

)

Requirements:
  • Client is looking for a Systems Administrator. Does not need to have SCCM skill- it’s a plus and something the person may grow into. SCCM not currently part of the environment.
  • Needs to have Strong Active Directory skills- should know this inside and out.
  • Password resets
  • 2 factor authentication
  • Must have WSUS & patching.
  • Needs backups to run smoothly.
  • VEAM and VMWare a plus
  • Will be working with 2 others from the network team.
  • Small environment. Not too many tickets per month- approx. 250 tix
  • Approx 5% of these tix are escalated

Daily expectations:
  • Check if any open tickets
  • Monitor & Log – make sure everything looks healthy
  • Dive into project work
