Location: Carvings DC, Foggy Bottom
Job Description: Carvings DC in Foggy Bottom is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Barista/Cashier to join our fast-paced team! This position isn’t just about making drinks and ringing up orders—you’ll also help with general store cleanup and restocking to keep our deli running smoothly. Above all, outstanding customer service is a must.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Pay: $17.50/hour plus tips
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive, can-do attitude – we thrive on energy and teamwork
- Barista/cashier experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Customer service skills – friendly, helpful, and patient
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual – the team counts on you
- References required
Responsibilities Include:
- Taking orders and handling cash/credit transactions
- Crafting espresso beverages, coffees, and other drinks
- Maintaining clean dining and service areas
- Stocking supplies and ensuring product availability
- Providing exceptional service to every guest
