We're a busy but FUN Vietnamese food truck, Phowheels, based in Silver Spring, MD and we circulate the D.C, NVA, MD region.
POSITION:
Food line prep and cashier with great attitude & must be able to work in a fast pace environment. 1 year minimum of food prep experience required.
PAY:
$18 hourly OR $12 hourly + tips (averages $16-22/ hourly) + Bonus end of year + pay increase based on performance
LOCATION:
Colesville area in Silver Spring, MD (ONLY APPLY IF ARE WILLING TO DRIVE TO THE LOCATION)
FULL TIME HOURS:
35-40 hours 5 days a week and weekends 8:00am-2:15pm & 4:00pm-8:00pm. Must be able to work at least 4 full days and be available during the weekend.

-Kitchen and food preparation (fry, grill, cold/kitchen prep)

HORARIO DE TIEMPO:

RESPONSABILIDADES:
-Configuración/limpieza antes/después del servicio
-Preparación de línea
-Cocina y preparación de alimentos (freír, grill, frío/preparación de cocina)

-Manejo de caja registradora/sistema POS
-Capaz de seguir instrucciones completa e independientemente

REQUISITOS DE CALIFICACIÓN PARA EL TRABAJO:
-Trabaje en un entorno acelerado y multitarea en espacios reducidos
- Ser capaz de trabajar en un ambiente caluroso, el camión de comida hace mucho calor en el interior durante el verano. Usted es responsable de mantenerse hidratado.
-Excelente servicio al cliente y habilidades de comunicación.
-Puntual, confiable, auto-motivado, gran actitud son TODOS IMPRESCINDIBLES
-Capacidad para levantar 40-50 libras
-Realizar otras tareas que le sean asignadas
-Hablar y entender un mínimo de inglés es una ventaja.
PREFERENCIAS:
- Al menos 1 año de experiencia en restaurante u hospitalidad similar
- El certificado de manipuladores de alimentos MD/VA/DC es un Plus
- Currículum con referencias preferible
-Tener licencia de conducir vigente pero no requerida
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task in tight quarters
- Be able to work in a hot environment, the food truck gets really hot inside during the summer. You are responsible for staying hydrated.
-Outstanding customer service and communication skills
-Punctual, reliable, self-motivated, great attitude are ALL A MUST
-Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
-Perform other duties as assigned
-Speak and understand minimal English is a plus
PREFERENCES:
- At least 1 years of restaurant or similar hospitality experience
- MD/VA/DC Food Handlers Certificate is a Plus
- Resume with references preferred
-Have valid driver's license but not required
