Hands-on Care Needed For Our Son In Olney, MD
My wife and I are looking for a caregiver to watch our son Tuesday and Friday each week between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Our 33-year-old son is a Brain Injury Survivor living in our Olney home. He can't talk much or move his right arm or leg. We need someone who can help get him out of bed and into his wheelchair using an overhead lift. You would help dress him, keep him company, take him for walks, etc. He gets help from a private agency that allows us to direct the hiring, but they would pay you (we will supplement the rate so that it reaches $25/hour). You need: 1) live with 20 minutes of Olney, MD, 2) have reliable transportation, 3) be comfortable around dogs, 4) have a high school diploma and 5) be legal to work with taxes withheld in MD.
