As a Handyman, you are a key member of our team responsible for quality repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects. You will build customer relationships and uphold our standard for excellent customer service. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
You have a strong background of skilled tradesman experience and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Specific tasks include painting and drywall repairs, tile installation and repair, power washing, caulking, water remediation, gutter cleaning and repairs, molding and trim replacement, siding repair, carpentry, and more
-Communicate with customers about scope of work
-Insure the efficient use of materials
-Proficiency to navigate tablet based and smart phone technology technology
-Team player who can work independently
Requirements:
-Must have a knowledge, skill and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks
-High School degree or GED plus 5 years of experience in home maintenance/repair and remodeling
-Must own a work vehicle i.e. pickup truck or utility van preferred
-Must own basic tools to perform daily duties
-Must speak english
Compensation:
-JWHI will pay an hourly rate base on experience
-We will also compensate for driving your vehicle from job to job
-Employee will be paid for approved holidays and earned vacation time
