Costello, P.C. is a real estate law firm seeking a civil litigation associate with 2 to 3 years of litigation experience to join its fast-growing team.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in DC and either MD or VA. Licensure in more than one jurisdiction is not mandatory but preferred.
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and making oral arguments before the court;
Possess a strong understanding of civil procedure, efficient legal research, and excellent legal writing skills;
Ability to manage caseloads effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent communication and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues;
Eagerness to learn and work closely with senior attorneys at the firm; and
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
Job Type: Applications for both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (20 hours per week) will be considered.
Work Location: Hybrid office hours (remote and occasional office hours) and court appearances as may be required.
Pay is commensurate with experience and licensure of applicant.
