Job Summary
We are a beer, wine, spirits shop in Dupont Circle that also runs an online delivery service. We are looking for a hard-working individual who can take direction and is a quick learner. You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid US drivers license with a fairly clean driving record. City driving experience and wine/beer/spirit knowledge is a plus. Responsibilities and Duties
Provide courteous and prompt service to all customers.- Deliver customer orders.- Check identification for proof-of-age; deny sale of alcohol or tobacco to underage customers.- Provide continuous attention to guest needs; greet, assist and thank guests in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner.- Offer product suggestions when appropriate.- Be aware of surroundings on sales floor in order to prevent theft.- Stock products in a timely and efficient manner.- Keep store/delivery vehicle area clean & organised
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and procedures.- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.- Ability to work as part of a team.- Ability to complete tasks independently with little supervision.- Available to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
