Cellular wireless company is looking to fill multiple positions. Wireless Field Technician is responsible for the installation, integration, commissioning and testing of radio antenna systems for cellular technologies. Wireless Technician is a critical part of field operations team and carries out detailed system installation. Wireless Field Technician has good knowledge and experience installing Telecom electronics and wiring systems. This position reports to the Operations Manager and supports all aspects of fieldwork. Training will be provided.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Handle, test and install radio systems and components.
2. Install system components including boosters, small cells, antennas, combiners, splitters and Fiber DAS Hubs.
3. Install, terminate and test all types of cables – coaxial, Fiber, Cat-5/6 and twisted wires.
4. Read and follow system drawings.
5. Use test equipment to take basic radio signal measurements.
6. Support all other technical related tasks as needed.
