Handyman (Carpenter/Electrician) needed ASAP!(SU) (Andrews Airforce Base)

Busy Staffing Company looking for "Handyman" types for a week long project in Maryland. Pay ranges depend on experience and skill level. Must have own reliable transportation.

Candidates must be able to lift 50-75 lbs, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion, standing or sitting for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. We are looking for candidates that are punctual, have strong work ethics, and a willingness to learn. Must be able to work flexible hours.

Be sure to bring documents that establish your identity as well as your employment eligibility as required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Temp-Perm opportunities are available!

Qualified Candidates must be able to preform the following jobs:

Electrical

Replace all outlets, light switches, three-way switches, GFCIs and cable plates, on existing boxes in current locations. (Approximately 65 devices)

Replace all ceiling fans on existing boxes in current locations.

Replace all surface mounted ceiling light fixtures on existing boxes in current locations, including the kitchen light.

Replace all vanity light fixtures, relocate box to center on vanity.

Replace exterior front entry light with cube porch lantern on existing box in current location.

Install all associated light bulbs and cover plates.

Bathrooms

Replace three vanities in each home, sink top, faucet, supply lines and drain trap.

Install vanity door pull knobs.

Replace the recessed medicine cabinet with a mirror (centered on the new vanity), repair drywall where recessed cabinet was removed.

Replace bathroom hardware to include; towel bar, toilet paper holder, curved shower rod and robe hook.

Carpentry, doors and locks.

Replace all interior door hardware to include; door hinges, knobs, strike plates, bifold knobs w/backplates and flexible spring door stops.

Remove small cabinet detail over the kitchen sink.

Replace mailbox at the front entry door.

Replace front entry door knocker.

Replace front entry door single cylinder deadbolt lock. (keys to be left in lockbox)

Replace storm door.

General information

Working hours are from June 21 to June 27, 8AM to 4PM Monday through Sunday.

All materials are provided.

All materials will be disbursed at the maintenance building and transported to the homes by you.

Drop cloths and or other reasonable means of floor protection shall be utilized.

All trash and construction debris to be disposed of in onsite dumpster.

Smoking is restricted to designated areas.

Vehicles must be lettered and are subject to random inspection.

All personnel will clear a background check at the visitors center and will be provided a temporary pass for the duration of the project.

Be advised some furniture may be present and should be pushed to the center of the room if necessary, in order to complete the work.

Every employee must have the following tools:

Wearable headband flashlight (the power will be off during electrical upgrades).

Cordless screw gun

Hammer

Utility knife

Screwdriver

Linemans pliers

Channel locks

Wire strippers

Tape measure

Small level

Electrical tester (tic tester)

Full PPE (Gloves, Work boots, Safety Glasses, Vest)
