We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Picture Framer/Frame Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of framing materials and techniques, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for creating and assembling custom frames for artwork, photographs, and other decorative items, ensuring each piece is beautifully presented and preserved.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Advice: Provide recommendations on frame materials, styles, colors, and layouts that best enhance the artwork or photo.
Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut frame materials to the appropriate sizes.
Assembly: Assemble frames securely and ensure they are well-crafted.
Mounting: Mount and secure artwork or photos in the frame, ensuring the finished product is clean and well-presented.
Installation: Install hardware for hanging or displaying the frame.
Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and manage inventory of framing supplies.
Repair: Repair and redecorate old or broken frames as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Picture Framer or in a similar role.
Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
Strong understanding of framing materials and techniques.
Good eye for design and detail.
