Job Description
We are a general contractor in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Specializing in interior renovation and new construction projects for the government and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer with 3+ years experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, etc.
5+ years of experience as a field engineer, project engineer, or project manager (post degree)
New construction and interior renovation construction background office buildings, retail locations, condominiums, hospitals, etc.
Job Requirements
Submit RFIs, change orders, and submittals
Monitor and track project schedules
Coordinate delivery of equipment and supplies to the project site
Monitor and track bidding opportunities on various government and subscription based websites
Contact vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing data
Attend Prebid meetings on behalf of the company
Conducting and/or attending pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings
Conducting and/or participating in regularly held meetings involving the internal staff and external stake holders such as owners, subcontractors, etc.
