Roofing Supervisor

Family owned residential roofing company looking for an experience individual to join our team.

OBJECTIVE:

Plan, direct and oversee projects assigned efficiently, profitably, and safely to produce high quality product and high customer satisfaction.

DUTIES:

1. Schedule crews for various jobs

2. Read contract or work order, get clarification from estimator if needed,

3. Deliver material samples if required.

4. Visit job site to determine best approach to accomplish the work (not necessary for every job).

5. Make material and equipment list needed for and have ready before job starts.

6. Call customer and schedule the work. Keep customer up to date if unable to meet schedule.

7. Inform estimator of job schedule and keep up to date for billing.

8. Understand methods of installation of materials and train and instruct employees when necessary.

9. Be sure customer is aware of and approves any extra work.

10. Record separately all labor ad material used in performance of each extra.

11.Inspect finished work to assure it is complete and done correctly according to contract and/or

material specifications.

12. Advise customer and estimator that job is complete.

13. Settle customer complaints and advise estimator of problem and solution.

14. Give “Tool Box Talk”

15. Keep time sheets daily.

16. Order material for jobs, using proper forms.

17. Operate pan former to make plan (panels) for sheet metal jobs.

18. Operate forklift to move materials, equipment, and other items, as necessary.

19. Operate brake and shear to make pans, etc.

20. Review quantity of inventory items-felts, copper, solder, ice/water shield, etc.

Inform Justin when more inventory is needed to keep things running smoothly.

21. Discipline employees when needed.

22. Read, understand, and enforce the Jack’s Roofing Company Safety Plan.
