PAY & BENEFITS

Shuttle Bus Operator Pay: $21.31/Hour.

Line Run Operator Pay: $250.00-$300.00/Day.

Charter Bus Operator: $20.00-$25.00/Hour.

Drivers are paid WEEKLY via Direct Deposit!

Vacation and Holiday Pay.

JOB DESCRIPTON

Primary function is to operate a commercial Bus.

Coordinate with dispatch to pick up and transfer.

Maintain all motor vehicle logs, documentation, and driving standards as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal/State authorities, and the company.

Regularly inspect all assigned equipment and report repair maintenance requests to Dispatch.

Maintain vehicle in a clean and fueled state of readiness.

Load and unload baggage or parcels, on Long-Distance Bus Driver positions.

Transport customers who have pre-scheduled a special trip, either long-distance or local.

Check the condition of a vehicle, tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.

Comply with traffic regulations order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.

Follow safety rules as customers are boarding and exiting buses.

Prepare and submit reports that include the number of passengers or trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, and/or fares received.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.

JOB SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Good knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the transportation industry, including DOT regulations.

Current CDL A or B with (P) Passengers endorsement and Airbrakes Endorsement.

Must be at least 25 years old.

Must have at least 3 years of experience.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and have a current DOT Medical Card.

Must have a clean driving record with no accidents within a 3 year time period and no more than 2 moving violations.

Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle as per CFR 391 . 15.

Must look professional at all times.

Must have excellent communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) and listening skills.

Must have excellent customer service skills.
