We are currently searching for delivery drivers that want to make a difference servicing our community and making a difference to this great country, we want to hear from you!We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Centerline is looking for local drivers who can work shifts ranging from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for picking-up and delivering groceries in the quickest and safest way possible. Your familiarity with local roads and the overall area is a plus.Responsibilities:Safely operate a small delivery truckDeliver customer orders to homes and/or places of business within established time framesNo contact deliveries leaving items in a safe placeAlerting customers when items are ready for pick upComplete multiple deliveries a dayKeep equipment clean and presentableMaintain accurate transportation logs including vehicle inspection reports dailyStarting at $14.00 Per Hour plus BenefitsPaid WeeklyQualifications:Valid Driver’s LicenseAbility to pass drug screenValid driver's license with a history of no suspensions or at fault accidents within the last three years, no DUI/DWI within the past seven years, and no more than one moving violation within the last three years.Ability to lift from ground level to overhead, carry and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbsExcellent customer service skills1 year of delivery experience requiredTwenty-one years of age or olderPhysical Requirements:Frequent maneuvering in and out of delivery truckWalking and climbing steps and stairs on a frequent basis while carrying groceriesTwo handed lifting, pushing, handling, and carrying totes on a frequent basisSustained squatting, kneeling, stooping and bending while moving totes from ground level to overheadTwo handed pushing, pulling and lifting of loaded and unloaded totes in and out of truck cargo areaJob duties and responsibilities may vary by location and additional job duties and responsibilities may be assigned.A criminal background check may be required.
