Longeviti seeks a Database Management Analyst to provide mission support to the US Navy Program Executive Office (PEO) Digital OPS/ADMIN Support Service. In this position, you will: administer, test, implement databases; applying knowledge of database management systems; coordinate changes to databases; identify, investigate, resolve database performance issues; and plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • Must

    have an active Secret security clearance. Only candidates with a current Secret clearance will be considered.
  • Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the administration of database.
  • Analyze database needs and develops a long-term strategy for data storage.
  • Establishes policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitors and limits database access as needed.
  • Oversees the design, maintenance and implementation of the systems that manage an internal database.
  • Reports to Program Manager and may manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs as a first level manager.
  • Ensures that project milestones/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
  • Maintain and manage client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Reports to Program Manager and may manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs as a first level manager.
  • Write, speak, and brief senior military and civilian staff, contractor staff, and wider audiences.
  • Work well under pressure and on the Government site.
  • Work well in teams; manage multiple competing priorities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • 8+ years of experience managing multiple databases, ideally in the Department of the Navy.
  • Experience with organizing and assigning responsibilities to subordinates (including subcontractors).
  • Adept at reviewing the workload of each team member and assigning them to support high volume programs and projects based on the mission, current speed, volume, and demand of the client.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting databases to include Oracle and MSSQL
  • Experience in database administration or information technology.
  • Experience in UNIX, Linux, Oracle, Windows Operating System, Data Analysis, Microsoft Access, and HTML.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant work experience or Associate’s degree plus 14 years of relevant work experience.
