- Provide assistance and support to regarding medical data and information requirements.
- Assist with Privacy Threshold Analysis, System of Records Notices, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Privacy Act statements to analyze new or proposed changes to existing technology, sharing agreements, and programs to identify privacy risks and provide possible mitigation strategies
- Assist with assessments and analyses of projects and studies that require analysis of interrelated issues such as legal compliance, policy compliance, and regulatory compliance
- Gather all relevant information concerning systems collecting personally identifiable information (PII) by DHS and its components to determine which compliance documentation is required;
- Coordinate efforts of components, project managers, and staff to complete individual assessments, analyses, and other related projects
- Assist with the preparation of guidance for compliance procedures and operations, assist with the development of new procedures, guidance dealing with applicability and impact on privacy of current and developing technologies
- Assist with the planning, education, and outreach efforts consistent with program requirements and relevant laws
- Track and ensure projects are completed accurately and appropriately with multiple stakeholders
- Participate in review meetings and analyze documents and other materials during privacy compliance reviews
- Draft and edit documentation such as meeting notes, findings, and reports, both during and following the review process
- Support leadership and work with the EMR program management to coordinate the development, implementation, and utilization of the program EMR
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal privacy compliance, knowledge of information privacy laws, release of information, and release control technologies
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or Master of Arts/Science.
- Ability to manage workload and schedule across task activities
- Exceptional attention to detail for quality control of documents and artifacts
- Good communication skills and capable of leading multidisciplinary teams
- Self-motivated
- Must be eligible for DoD Secret clearance
