Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
This HR Generalist role will share support of a bilingual client group of approximately 500+ employees. This role includes support for both exempt and nonexempt employees. Additionally, this role will help lead initiatives and drive engagement for virtual & a hybrid hub with a cumulative headcount of 1000+.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute policies and programs encompassing all aspects of HR
Anticipate employee related situations and provide counsel to associates and managers to resolve through open communications
Recommend and lead improvements of HR programs and policies
Analyze, prepare, and compile employee-related data, personnel statistics, and project information
Investigate employee concerns, conduct internal audits, and implement appropriate resolution steps
Assist managers in all cycles of performance management, including review of annual evaluations, career development, and coaching
Partner with managers to interpret and administer policies, including corrective action
Actively participate in business-wide and HR team initiatives
Foster an environment conducive to teamwork and diversity
Provide full support for Workday, including inputting new hires, status changes, exits and data integrity
Responsible for staffing of non-exempt associates and select exempt positions within the site. This includes all steps in the staffing process; sourcing, interviewing, job offers, onboarding, new hire orientation etc.
HR Compliance - proactively manage personnel files, job files and numerous record keeping requirements for the hub(s).
Manage/lead site audits as appropriate. Assist employees with benefits, FMLA, disability, payroll, ADA, LOW and LOA inquiries
Lead/manage AAP for hub(s)
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
BA/BS degree in HR, Business or related area
2+ years in an HR Generalist Role
3+ years project management and strategic partnering
Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish
Experience with HR functions including; compensation, benefits EEO, employee relations, staffing and HR practices and policies
Desired Characteristics:
Strong preference for Master’s degree in HR, MBA or related area
Human Resource experience in a call center environment, financial service industry a plus
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making based on analysis and evaluation
Demonstration of individual competence, growth and advancement in the HR profession
Strong organizational/follow up skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple and changing tasks simultaneously
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 52,000.00 - 104,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
