Required Skills:

5+ years' experience with C Object Oriented Development

2+ years' experience with writing Web Services - REST, XML, SOAP, etc

2+ years' experience with Unix / Linux Operating System

2+ years' experience with Relation Database Systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase , etc)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Candidate must be an energetic, self-motivated problem solver who works well in a team.

Desired Skills:

Experience migrating /deploying to Public Cloud -Azure is the preference

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a C Software Engineer for a long term contract opportunity with one of our large clients in the High Tech Industry focusing on Business Intelligence and Analytics. In this role, you will be working with object oriented C, developing web services, and SOAP. We're seeking Software Engineers with 5+ years of experience with Visual C and authoring web services, specifically Rest, SOAP, and XML to speak with the middleware. You will also need to have experience with SQL /relational databases as well as Unix/Linux operating systems. This role will require collaboration with a number of different teams as you'll be developing middleware, so excellent communication skills are a must. This role will predominantly be working on maintenance and enhancements of existing services. You'll be joining an Agile team with 2 week sprint cycles.
