- Provides ongoing management and oversight for vendor contracts once executed
- Responsible for vendor oversight, vendor execution, and strategic oversight for vendors providing services, staff augmentation, and other forms of engagement services
- Develops opportunities to influence strategic vendors direction/initiatives to ensure they are aligned with the needs of the organization and drives year over year performance improvements from these vendors
- Serves as the single point of contact for approved vendor contracts and vendor compliance for the IT Organization
- Serves as the liaison between management and vendors to ensure vendor effectively managed and contracts are fully leveraged
- Develops and maintains successful working relationships with vendor representatives
- Analyzes vendor performance data on a regular basis and performs follow up activities to ensure vendors adhere to company quality measures
- Works with management with developing internal and external (Vendor) SLAs and metrics necessary for monitoring the results of vendors
- Works with management to determine internal and external (Vendor) reporting requirements and enforces the delivery of accurate and timely information
- Conducts regular performance reviews with vendors and communicates needed improvements
- Enforces company guidelines and best practices for vendor management and viability measures
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with IT, contracts and/or temporary staffing
- IT Contract Management experience preferred
- IT Vendor Management experience preferred
- IT Strategic Sourcing experience preferred
- Requires Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Strong business acumen related to sourcing and vendor management
- Financial management experience as it applies to the monitoring and oversight of vendors/suppliers
- Advanced degree in Sourcing, Vendor Management or supply chain may be substituted for work experience
- Prior relevant work experience serving the IT Sourcing/Vendor Management
- Strong communication, skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and with vendors
- Versatility and flexibility to respond and adapt quickly and effectively to multiple changing priorities
- Experience with Contract Management Tool (tools like ServiceNow preferred)
- Experience with Risk Management Tool (tools like ProcessUnity preferred)
