- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of programs, defining, implementing and managing strategies.
- Independently owns delivery of programs managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Works closely with clients to develop an understanding of their business strategy, ensuring that the program is managed to provide agreed levels of service.
- The role has an oversight of the purpose and status of the projects in a program and can use this oversight to support project-level activity to ensure the program goals are met by providing a decision-making capacity.
- Develop the outcomes of large scale/strategic projects and ensure they meet our overall strategic business needs and objectives. May influence/change expected outcomes of multiple projects to reach that goal.
- Establish delivery strategy and approach to drive expected outcomes.
- Develop high-level roadmaps and project plans supporting outcomes and deliverables across IS and multiple business units.
- Working directly with Project Managers, coordinate delivery of projects within budget while achieving business objectives and strategic goals.
- Shape program delivery scope works with business owners to establish business priorities and advises management of alternatives. Serve as a liaison to business owners in defining new project requests.
- Establish and ensure consistent and cohesive project management and change management practices. Managing and communicating to a centralized portfolio of IS projects, business roadmaps, and pending project requests.
- Ensure continuity of adjacent programs and projects and adjust expected outcomes, scope, timing and budgets as necessary.
- Analyze, assess and present impacts to managers and project teams, identifying potential IS portfolio priority changes.
- Proactively monitor, measure and report on program and project status to IS leadership.
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- PMP and Agile certification highly preferred
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 3-5 years at a program management level
- Driven to learn continuously, drive organizational change and be change resilient
- Focused, versatile and collaborative leader who is comfortable under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with clarity and precision
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience with multiple delivery methodologies, including Agile
- Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
- Develop knowledge of business, products, technologies, business practices and direction
- Ability to express technical concepts in terms that are business understandable
- Project management skills, experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation
- People Change Management (Ed: PROSCI) training preferred
