Ledgent Technology is seeking a
Manual QA Tester for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This is a hybrid opportunity located in Boca Raton, FL. Only local applicants are being considered. All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. 3rd party subcontracting is not an option. What you will be doing:- Manage all stages of manual testing: unit testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing and release or deployment testing.
- Conduct regression testing
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Proven experience manually testing web applications and web forms.
- Experience managing all stages of manual testing: unit testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing and release or deployment testing.
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks
- Regression testing experience
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred
- Fintech experience is preferred but not required
