RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Boynton Beach, FL that is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Enterprise DevOps team. The Lead DevOps Engineer will set-up and maintain the CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test and code deployment processes while following best practices. As a Lead, this role will support the broader team through mentoring other DevOps engineers.
Responsibilities: In this role, the Lead DevOps Engineer will design CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools Lead the devops team of engineers and responsible for deployment pipelines code reviews, best practices and framework maintenance Writing builds for different applications (web/ APIs/Database/Windows) and building docker containers and deploy on AKS/GKE cluster using the YAML scripts Create deployments pipelines to deploy classical applications (Web app, Window services, SQL Database) and (Azure) Kubernetes services (Docker containers) Implement and improve zero-downtime deployments (blue-green, rolling, canary) The Lead DevOps Engineer will manage Infrastructure as Code and use configuration management tools in a cloud environment such as Azure Work with and across multiple Agile teams to oversee development, testing, deployment, and support of technology solutions Support and facilitate test automation practices to increase deployment frequency and improve confidence in delivered software As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will develop documentation of CI/CD pipelines and communication to dev teams on pipelines changesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable years of experience 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer having familiarity with different types of applications in a containerized environment 2+ years of team lead experience - leading few DevOps engineers and mentoring .NET Core 2.1/3/NET 5, SQL Server or Azure SQL/CosmosDB, and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Dependency Injection, Model-View-Controller (MVC) experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
