Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to primarily coordinate and execute client implementations. A dynamic Project Manager who is experienced in managing both IT and client projects, including software development projects, from initiation through project closure.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • Responsible for overall leadership, coordination, status reporting and stability of client implementation work efforts.
  • Effectively utilizes our Project Management processes & methodology to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
  • Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, providing minutes, directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource needs, leading customer calls, performing quality review, implementing workflow processes and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project, including adherence to the defined scope and objectives, tracking and reporting on key project milestones, issues and risks, and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet business needs. Escalates issues to Management/Steering Committee as required.
  • Motivates and energizes team members to accomplish project deliverables.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risks and resources of the work effort being managed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2years working as a Project Manager on technology and business projects, including software development projects.
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable evidence of full lifecycle project management.
  • A familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and methodologies, with experience using both Agile and traditional SDLC/Waterfall methods in managing projects.
  • An action and results-oriented approach.
  • Flexible/adaptable in approach to managing projects, considering the needs of the project and the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with experience working effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including demonstrated proficiency/experience with MS Project.
