Description SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Cyber Lead to support Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Launch Deltas (SLD) in performing Digital Transformation, Acquisition, Modernization and Modification (DTAMM) of LTRS assets at SLD 30 Western Range (WR) and SLD 45 Eastern Range (ER). The systems and sub-systems at the WR and ER provide positive command, radar, optics, telemetry, weather, communications, timing, area surveillance, planning and scheduling, data handling, facilities modifications, and other capabilities necessary to meet safety requirements, and safely conduct Department of Defense (DoD), civil, and commercial Space lift operations; intercontinental and sea-launched ballistic missile evaluations; and aeronautical and guided weapons tests. In support of the government customer and the SAIC Program Manager, the Cyber Lead is responsible for assisting the PM in design, development, and integration of cyber systems and subsystems. This includes specific capabilities spanning the cyber and mission domain, as well as cyber functionality in the other domains to maximize probability of success and to support processes such as gaining Authority to Operate (ATO) approval from the Government Qualifications

It is required that the Cyber Lead has the following qualifications:
  • Possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
  • Fourteen (14) years of overall experience, a bachelor's degree or higher in a cybersecurity/information security or IT/computer science related field of study, or ten years direct cyber/IT security experience with a science, engineering, or other technical bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience leading cyberspace programs within DoD, Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and/or joint cyber programs, to include defensive cyber operations, offensive cyber operations, DoD Information Networks (DODIN), cyber situational awareness, or cyber command and control.
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA).
  • It is desired that the Cyber Lead has one or more of the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of ten years' experience working on DoD Space systems/AF, and/or joint and interagency cyberspace programs spanning architecture requirements generation, development, integration, operations, and sustainment
  • Experience hosting cloud-based and hybrid cloud/on-premises network solutions (e.g., AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud platform, IBM cloud).
  • Experience designing and developing cloud-native scalability and distributed applications that leverage micro-service architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience with the following:
  • Zero trust architectures
  • NIST 800 53
  • NIST 800 190
  • Kubernetes environments
  • A minimum of ten years of experience leading systems-level analysis, requirements generation, integrating computer hardware/software development and software system engineering, and modeling and simulation
