Duration: 0-6 month(s) Description/Comment: Project Summary The business analyst will be working on a Global Merchandise Data Reporting project. This project will centralize sales, inventory and order data from global Disney merchandise data technologies into a centralized data platform for business analysis and reporting. The platform will be hosted on AWS and Snowflake. The individual will report into Disneys Data Products & Platforms team. The individual will confirm business requirements, help with planning priorities, document user stories and work with Agile teams to ensure product deliverables are planned, managed and delivered per business expectations. Business Analyst / Product Analyst Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand and document requirements. Distill product and data requirements into epics and user stories, with acceptance criteria, for delivery. Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions. Partner with development and test teams to confirm success criteria and testing objectives. Document release notes and updating training materials; deliver training through facilitated presentations and written documentation Key Personal Traits Detail oriented / excellence in requirements documentation Able to complete deliverables on time, meeting or exceeding expectations Successful communicator, including written and oral communications. Able to elicit business system requirements and document them as user stories, epics and Able to learn quickly and multi-task Strong sense of ownership - able to take on lead responsibilities when needed Basic Qualifications: Experience: 5-7 years business analysis experience preferred Experience in Merchandise Systems and/or Merchandise data warehousing projects preferred Store Merchandise data experience preferred Experience in data warehousing and data products preferred Experience in cloud technologies preferred (Snowflake, BigQuery) Experience in data products Experience being an active participant of an agile team with understanding of stand-up, grooming, and planning ceremonies. Experience using tools such as Jira, Miro, SharePoint and Confluence. Experience in participating within a data/technical teams Required Education: 5-7 years business analysis experience preferred
