As a Lead Procurement Buyer for the space fulfillment team, you will be in a cross-functional role combining procurement fulfillment activities that ensure continuity of supply, along with driving process improvement projects for the Space and Rev COGS procurement teams. This role will include a heavy focus on data analytics, data trends to identify gaps, and the facilitation and execution of processes improvement projects. In this role, you will directly interact with internal and external stakeholders for buy in to the process improvement ideas. Once approved, you will be responsible to create a project plan with deliverables, dates, owners, sustainment activities, and measurable results from the project execution. Process improvement projects will include training initiatives, purchase order documentation standardization, streamlining workflow, and improving the overall operating system for these teams. Do a superb job for customers every day in quality, delivery, value, technology, and responsiveness and provide high quality support for external customers. Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and critically analyze details. Project management experience will be utilized to support new programs and the initiatives that drive procurement strategies. Communications with programs and senior leadership will be an expectation. Key Responsibilities: · Ensure continuity of supply for assigned fulfillment activities and manage supplier communication · Work with Integrated Program Teams (IPT), Sourcing Program Managers (SPM), and other stakeholders as appropriate to ensure the needs of the program are met · Support programs when it comes to procurement needs, including cost, quality, and delivery · Data Analysis and trend identification to support process improvement projects · Development and execution of process improvement projects based on data trends and process gaps · Report out to senior leadership on project status and results · Ensure procurement metrics are worked and all metrics meet goals YOU MUST HAVE · Bachelor’s Degree · 3+ years’ procurement experience · 2+ years’ experience with US Government Contracting (FAR, DFAR, FAR15, etc.) · 2+ years’ SAP experience · 3+ years’ project management experience with documented results · Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements WE VALUE · Knowledge of purchasing systems · Excellent Project Management skills · Strong communication skills and a team player · Excellent organizational skills – ability to prioritize and problem solve independently · English fluency, any other language is a plus · Excellent technical knowledge of procurement/sourcing Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
