- Develop, design, and maintain next-generation system architecture and automation solutions, with a focus on microservice architecture and discovery with virtual network integration.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to establish and implement innovative approaches, best practices, and industry standards in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and security protocols.
- Prioritize security from an organizational standpoint.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members to ensure adherence to DevOps best practices and promote a unified approach.
- Implement and maintain pipelines promoting process automation to facilitate speed to market.
- Possess a strong grasp of CI/CD technology concepts and hands-on experience with major cloud providers, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, with a thorough understanding of serverless approach versus containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Foster a team-oriented mindset and possess excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related tech field.
- At least 5 years of experience in source control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repositories, or Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
- At least 5 years of experience in Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or relevant technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting DevOps practices.
- At least 2 years of experience in public cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights, and New Relic.
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in setting up Database platforms such as SQL Server, MongoDB, and DB2.
- Strong understanding of general networking concepts such as DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
