Caregiver - Private - Part-time

Hiring part-time caregivers, experienced with working with a quadriplegic. Shifts are mornings only; Mon-Fri 5am -10am and Sat - Sun 7am - 12noon. This is not a live-in position. Client is a very active independent 40-year-old male. He is paralyzed chest down and is not bedbound. Caregiver must be knowledgeable in recognizing signs of Autonomic Dysreflexia and response needed. Care required; transferring with Hoyer, bowel care, assist with shower and getting him dressed and ready for his day. Client is in a power wheelchair, has an electric Hoyer for transferring, a shower chair and roll-in shower. Breakfast preparation upon request. Light housekeeping duties, specifically sanitizing client's area and his equipment. MUST LIKE DOGS! Prior to scheduling an in-person interview, applicant will be subject to a Background check and to provide a copy of your valid driver license to verify your identity. Must be over the age 25. No smoking. The client holds a medical Marijuana card. MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT, INCLUDING NO BACK OR LIFTING RESTRICTIONS. Must have reliable transportation.
