Kohler Outdoor LLC is now hiring for the following positions:
Irrigation tech with experience in electrical troubleshooting and valve locating.
Irrigation assistant who is looking to be trained as a tech.
Pay for an electrically trained irrigation tech is $24.00 to start at a minimum based on experience. Irrigation assistant starting at $18.00 or more with some experience. Both positions require good drivers’ licenses and have their own transportation to the Orange City area where vehicles are kept.
We do irrigation, lighting and some drainage. Mostly commercial maintenance, but we do specialize in electrical issues for commercial properties and golf courses. Hands on training for electrical trouble shooting will be given and willing to train a tech able to repair pipes and heads but does not know electrical work. I am a licensed irrigation contractor with over 35 years of experience and willing to help others learn. We offer 401k and paid holidays.
Qualifications for this position:
Attention to detail for paperwork and field standards.
Understanding how to diagnose electrical issues.
Knowledge of decoder systems and troubleshooting equipment including wire tracker, decoder readers, ground fault locaters and wire radar handheld devises.
Good drivers license, good attitude, a wiliness to learn or teach others.
Able to handle the heat and lift 50 pounds.
