Title: Sr Business Analyst - Agile

Required Skills:

7+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst

Ability to elicit, understand , interpret , and represent both functional and nonfunctional requirements to include business and stakeholder requirements , data and information requirements, data integration, data quality, as well as service levels and performance through JAD sessions, interviews, gathering user stories, etc

Agile project experience

Jira

Scrum

Experience leading UAT efforts to facilitate and coordinate the test plan and strategy with the QA team.

Experience with process mapping using Visio

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Excellent time management skills

Desired Skills:

Business Analysis and/or Data Management Certifications: CBAP and/or CDMP or CBIP certification(s) are preferred

Experience writing SQL select statements to query and validate data

Experience with Data Mapping and Data Analysis is preferred, specifically Source to Target Mapping

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Sr Business Analyst for an initial 12 month contract with a large client in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of progressive experience working as a Business Analyst in a large enterprise matrixed IT organization. This role will focus heavily on gathering and documenting user stories of existing business processes "AS IS" and forecasting "TO BE" process flows. We're seeking a Sr Business Analyst who can own their work and assist the PM with driving the project forward. We're seeking candidates who have strong Agile experience as our client is starting their transformation. Candidates must have Jira, Agile, and Scrum team experience along with Executive Presence and Strong Leadership. The ideal candidates will hold the CBAP Certification and have Data Analysis and SQL experience as well. This role will be 60% traditional BA work including requirements elicitation and 40% focused on leading and coordinating UAT efforts.
