Required Skills:

10+ years of professional experience with Solutions Architecture in a large scale enterprise environment, ideally coming up through the technical ranks as a .Net Developer then to Architecture

Extensive experience with API's as well as Integrations from a variety of sources including Cloud (AWS/Azure)

Experience with IaaS and PaaS architecture standards

TOGAF Architecture Standards, or similar

Experience with Relational (SQL / Oracle) and either Mongo DB, Azure Platform Cosmos, or AWS Dynamo DB

Familiarity with Message Que : IBM MQ Series or Message Q on Azure

Extensive experience and knowledge of software design, application integration and data integration.

Extensive experience in designing and implementing canonical data models, SOA, messaging and transformation patterns.

Understands the complexities of networks, database, systems, security practices and other infrastructure components in an IT environment in a DevOps environment

Desired Skills:

Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools, alphabet or similar

TOGAF Certification

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Technical Architect for an initial 6 month contract with one of our enterprise clients in South Florida. In this role, you will join the Application Quality team and will assist creating standards and documentation for not only their technical platforms across the enterprise (IaaS and PaaS, but also for standards for application development and process as part of their Agile Tranformation. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience as well as 5 years of Architecture experience, following TOGAF standards or similar. Our client is seeking a Sr Consultant who has extensive experience with API's and Integrations to assist with architecting solutions between systems internal and external. Candidates should have strong executive presence as you'll also be responsible for leading technical and project teams towards delivery, as well as partnering with external technology partners and vendors.

This role will be 75% architecture, design, thought and technical leadership, and 25% code reviews, coding, and developing proof of concepts.
