A leading acute care hospital based in sunny Palm Beach county is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This regional leading acute care facility is home to more than 400 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of services including comprehensive cardiovascular care, emergency and critical care, maternity and pediatrics, perioperative services, and cancer care. This system strives to provide accessible high-quality healthcare to the surrounding areas and has recently been recognized by US News and World Report for being a high-performing center in heart failure, hip replacements, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Reporting to the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will lead all clinical and administrative operations of the department. This unit includes 13 all-private labor rooms, 10-bed obstetric emergency unit, 3-bed post-operative suite, and 2 obstetric operating rooms. This service line is proud to successfully perform more than 250 deliveries per month. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the department personnel management, monitors performance and quality of care, ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies, and assists with the department fiscal budget.
Requirements Include:- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN
- Registered Nurse RN license in state of FL or ability to attain
- Progressive leadership experience in an labor and delivery environment
