Additional Information: What You Will Do: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.
  • Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilize methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
  • Identifu and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials.
  • Keep records of educational activities and prepare reports.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Educator preferred.
Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
